Events at Watermark Marina Wedding

Adrian and Gretchen’s wedding was everything you would want a Wilmington spring wedding to be. The bride got ready in the lush and spacious upstairs suite at the Watermark Marina and the groom got ready a short distance away at the Hampton Inn. The ceremony took place at sunset on the scenic boardwalk at Watermark Marina. After the ceremony was over, the bride and groom brought their wedding guests into the beautiful reception area inside Watermark. The reception hall felt enchanted, it was enveloped with elements of old southern charm and intimately lit by High-Performance Lighting & Power. String pearls dripped from the candelabras and loose pearls adorned the tables. The color theme was lime green, lavender and cream. Dinner was catered by the famous local Wilmington restaurant, Catch.

During Gretchen & Adrian’s wedding, I had the pleasure of working closely with Jana at Design a Dream Events. Jana did an exceptional job coordinating and designing! Weddings are hectic and having a great coordinator is crucial to having a seamless wedding.

The gorgeous bride had her makeup done by the talented Makeup by Amy Kennison.

Sea holly and eucalyptus were featured in Gretchen’s bouquet.

Adrian and Gretchen, I cannot thank you enough for your enthusiasm, energy, and kindness you guys were wonderful to work with!  I know your wedding photography was very important to you, and I thank you for giving me ample time to create images that I hope you adore as much as I enjoyed capturing them for you!
